The Breast Center at Smilow Cancer Hospital's Greenwich Hospital Campus combines the newest technology and a team of top breast specialists at one state-of-the-art center.
Under the medical director of Barbara Ward, MD, the Breast Center provides women with easy access to clinical and support services. These range from screenings and diagnosis to treatment, counseling and education for patients and their loved ones.

The interdisciplinary team of surgeons and experts includes a specially trained oncology nurse navigator who helps patients coordinate all aspects of care, including surgery, radiation and medical therapy, if necessary.
The Breast Center is located in the Sherman and Gloria H. Cohen Pavilion at 77 Lafayette Place in Greenwich. Board certified surgeons have offices on the same floor. Patients who require surgery can have the procedure done across the street at Greenwich Hospital.
The Bendheim Cancer Center, also located in the Cohen Pavilion, offers a full range of outpatient diagnostic and treatment services, including radiation therapy, medical therapies and laboratory services. Women newly diagnosed with breast cancer at the Breast Center can immediately begin tapping the resources and experts at the Bendheim Cancer Center. Patients who qualify have access to a variety of clinical trials.
Greenwich Hospital offers a wide selection of private consultations, counseling, and support groups for breast cancer patients and their loved ones.
The Breast Center is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. This means patients receive the best in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. The Center has private examining rooms, four 3D mammography units and three ultrasound units.

Saturday 8 am - 11:40 am
Women can schedule a screening mammogram during any of these hours.
Diagnostic mammograms are only available Monday to Friday.
Patients are referred to the Breast Center by their gynecologist or primary care physicians.
