The first-time parent's childbirth preparation class is a 6-hour class. Some information that will be covered includes: Anatomy and physiology of labor and delivery, stages of labor, labor comfort measures/partner's role, controlled relaxation techniques, breathing techniques, medication/anesthesia, epidurals, inductions, post-partum care and more. Tour of the birthing center is included.
