Emergency Services 24/7

We offer around-the-clock urgent and emergency care for adults and children with acute and urgent illnesses and injuries. The department is staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians and physician assistants, as well as advanced practice nurses and technicians. Emergency services are supported by onsite diagnostic radiology and laboratory medicine.

We work seamlessly with Yale New Haven Hospital Emergency Services to transfer patients when a higher level of trauma care is required.

Heart and Vascular Center

Heart and vascular specialists offer onsite diagnosis, treatment options and minimally invasive procedures. Specialists are board-certified in electrophysiology, interventional radiology, interventional cardiology and vascular surgery.

Radiology and Biomedical Imaging

Advanced diagnostic radiology services offered: CT scan, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), fluoroscopy, bone density, 3-D mammography and X-ray. Same-day appointments and evening hours are available. Same-day results are provided for most services.

Same-Day Surgery Center

The advanced Surgery Center features six state-of-the-art operating rooms for specialized same-day procedures performed by skilled surgeons and Yale New Haven Hospital surgery teams.

Smilow Cancer Hospital physicians are a part of Yale Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute and Comprehensive Cancer Center.
