Daniela Addeo, MD, MBA, is a therapeutic radiologist who uses advanced technology to save and prolong life and improve quality of life for patients with cancer.
She is skilled in the use of nonsurgical treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery and radiotherapy for a variety of primary and metastatic malignancies, including breast, gastrointestinal, lung, brain, gynecological, and skin malignancies.
Dr. Addeo’s goal with each new patient is to help them understand their disease so they can make informed decisions about managing it. “I reassure them that we are doing our best to help them and let them know that our practice has a high quality of care,” she says.
“Oncology is a dynamic field,” says Dr. Addeo, adding that what she likes best about therapeutic radiology is that it is constantly changing as well. “I am excited to apply the most advanced available techniques and technologies to obtain the best results for our patients,” she says. It’s also especially satisfying to be able to offer patients the latest treatments to improve their outcomes, and provide them with opportunities to participate in clinical research, she adds.
