Biography
Joshua I. Hrabosky, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist and Program Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health at Greenwich Hospital, with a specialty in weight management and issues related to bariatric surgery, body image and self-esteem. Additional areas of expertise include cognitive-behavioral therapy, depression and anxiety.
Dr. Hrabosky works with those looking to modify their eating behavior and physical activity in an effort to lose weight and manage type 2 diabetes. He also works with pre- and post-bariatric surgery patients, as well as individuals seeking psychotherapy for mood, anxiety, body image, and personality disorders. Dr. Hrabosky conducts interviews for psychiatric and pre-bariatric surgery evaluations. He provides individual psychotherapy using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral weight loss (BWL).
As Program Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health, he oversees departments dedicated to adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, addiction recovery, and behavioral medicine.
