A message from the president of Greenwich Hospital
Long Ridge Medical Center in Stamford represents the face of healthcare today.
People visiting our outpatient facility can see a primary care physician or a
Yale Medicine specialist, undergo diagnostic imaging tests, receive infusions
and physical therapy, or have their blood drawn – all without stepping foot in
a hospital. Plus, patients who require additional care or surgery have access to
Greenwich Hospital and our extraordinary level of service excellence.
As part of Yale New Haven Health, Long Ridge illustrates the value of people
choosing hospitals and outpatient facilities associated with a world-class
healthcare system. Long Ridge brings the clinical expertise of Greenwich
Hospital, Yale Medicine’s Center for Musculoskeletal Care and Yale New Haven
Health’s Northeast Medical Group of primary care physicians under one roof to
improve convenience, access and coordination of care for our patients.
The Long Ridge Road location also reflects the ongoing integration of medical
services from hospitals to smaller facilities closer to home and work places. Our
patients tell us they want high-quality care that’s convenient and consolidates a
spectrum of medical and wellness services in one spot.
Looking forward, Greenwich Hospital will be extending its outpatient footprint.
In May, we opened a multispecialty outpatient facility at 90 South Ridge St.
in Rye Brook that includes pediatric specialists, primary care physicians,
diagnostic imaging and laboratory services. In September, we will open another
comprehensive outpatient facility at 500 West Putnam Ave. in Greenwich that
includes cardiology, pulmonology and physical therapy services.
We are also looking to expand services at Long Ridge Medical Center in
response to feedback from area residents. Patients rank their Long Ridge
experience in the top one percent on satisfaction surveys. e most common
