Ashutosh Kaul, MD, is Director of Bariatric Surgery at Greenwich Hospital and heads a team of highly experienced surgeons with expertise to meet the unique requirements of bariatric surgery. He is the Program Director of the Minimally invasive Surgery Fellowship program at New York Medical College. Dr. Kaul has been performing obesity surgery since 2000 and is the former President of the NY State Chapter of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgeons. He is board-certified as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons. An internationally renowned and published surgeon, he takes on challenging cases and has been named in Castle Connolly's best doctors list.
Joshua I. Hrabosky, PsyD, a clinical psychologist, is manager of the Center for Behavioral & Nutritional Health. Dr. Hrabosky’s clinical specialty is weight management and issues related to bariatric surgery, body image and self-esteem. His additional areas of interest and expertise are in cognitive-behavioral therapy, depression and anxiety. He received his BA in Psychology from Quinnipiac University and his PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Hrabosky completed a three-year fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine before joining the staff of Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, R.I., where he specialized in pre- and post-bariatric surgery weight-loss counseling. Dr. Hrabosky has published many peer-reviewed articles and presented at numerous scientific conferences on topics including body image, eating disorders, bariatric surgery and obesity.
Erica Christ, RD, CDE, is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator with a focus on weight management, sports nutrition and lipid management through behavior modification. A certified health and fitness instructor from the American College of Sports Medicine, Erica received her bachelor’s degree in communications from Boston University and her dual master's in applied physiology and nutrition at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she also completed her dietetic internship. Erica is a certified spin and pilates instructor and received her certificates of training in adult and adolescent weight management from the American Dietetic Association.
Jaclyn Kito, PT, DPT, coordinator of clinical programs, provides individualized guidance to each patient from pre-surgery education and evaluations to post-operative care. Jaclyn graduated from Quinnipiac University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She worked as an inpatient physical therapist at Greenwich Hospital for five years before transitioning into her role as bariatric surgery coordinator. Jaclyn is an integrative health member of ASMBS (American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery) and the Connecticut chapter of ASMBS. She is also the spinal fusion program coordinator and chair of the fall and mobility committees at Greenwich Hospital.
