Overview

Greenwich Hospital Laboratory is a hospital-based facility staffed to support inpatient care and outpatient services. The laboratory provides a wide variety of tests to diagnose and monitor diseases.

Our Services

Greenwich Hospital Laboratory collects and diagnoses blood and other specimens. The lab provides services for:

  • Inpatients
  • Patients who have been discharged from the hospital
  • Any individual with a doctor’s lab requisition
  • Physicians

Special Modes of Transportation for Those in Need

TAG (Transportation Association of Greenwich) is a private not-for-profit specialized transportation service for frail elderly and disabled people of all ages. They offer Dial-A-Ride and Easy Access transportation:

  • Dial-A-Ride is a door to door transportation service for Greenwich residents who are over 60 or disabled. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance.

The Easy Access program provides door-to-door van service to anyone who is disabled and is unable to use the public bus service. Certification is required demonstrating ADA disabilities status. There is a nominal charge for Easy Access TAG service.
