Cancer (Oncology)

The Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center on the Greenwich Hospital campus provides access to expert cancer care and treatment to patients from lower Fairfield County, Connecticut, and Westchester County, New York. 

Comprehensive outpatient cancer services, including consultation, screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care are located in the Bendheim building. Surgery, if necessary, is performed in the main hospital. Cancer patients who are admitted to Greenwich Hospital are cared for by specially trained staff on a dedicated oncology unit.

Clinical Services

• Medical oncology, including chemotherapy and infusion treatments
• Hematology services, offered by the medical oncology team for patients with any type of non-cancerous disorders affecting the blood, lymph nodes, and bone marrow
• Radiation oncology, provided by Yale Medicine physician specialists
• Breast Center combines the latest technology and specialists in one location
• Genetic testing, including genomic profiling of certain cancers
• Clinical Trials, available only through the renowned Yale Cancer Center
• Lab and Pharmacy services onsite for patients’ convenience
