Tree lightings kick off holiday season

The Yale New Haven Hospital Auxiliary invites employees, patients and the community to the annual Holiday Tree Lightings Tuesday, Dec. 4. The events will be at noon in the Saint Raphael Campus main lobby and 4 pm in the Hunter Courtyard, corner of York and Cedar streets.

Badge reminder

In accordance with Human Resources policy and for the safety of all patients, visitors and staff, Protective Services reminds all employees to wear their photo IDs above their waists and ensure their badges are visible at all times. This makes it easier for officers to check ID badges at building entrances and keep our facilities safe.

Clinical information services available at Cushing/Whitney Medical Library

Yale’s Cushing/Whitney Library clinical librarians provide services to departments throughout YNHH, including literature searches for patient care and practice change; databases and tools, such as VisualDx, to help with diagnosis and management strategies; and health information for patients and/or families. Clinical librarians are available to participate in patient rounds, morning reports and root-cause analyses, and provide orientations and in-service classes.

Clinical librarians are available 8 am - 10:30 pm Monday - Thursday; 8 am - 5:30 pm Friday; and 2 pm - 10:30 pm Sunday. Assistance requests may also be sent to [email protected]. To learn more, visit the library.
