May 20 webinar to focus on vision benefits
All YNHHS employees with the VSP vision benefit are invited to an interactive webinar, 1- 2 pm Tuesday, May 20, to learn more about the plan. The session will focus on:
- Creating an account to view your in-network coverage and benefit summary, and finding a VSP network doctor
- Eyeconic, an online shopping benefit available with VSP coverage for contact lenses and designer frames
- TruHearing, a benefit for hearing aids included with VSP coverage
- VSP exclusive member extras
To join the webinar, go to HRConnect on the intranet and select Monthly Employee Benefits Webinars on the home page to access the Zoom link. The passcode is 154726.
Epic Upgrade June 8
Take advantage of available resources to prepare for changes:
- Add the Epic Training Portal, epic.ynhh.org to favorites. From there, click the blue “Applications & Support Material” dropdown, then “Epic Upgrade.” Here you can access resources detailing key changes with the upgrade, including training slides, tip sheets, webinar information and more.
- Navigate to ServiceNow and click “Knowledge Base.” In the search bar type “Epic Upgrade.” Articles are sorted by User Role. Click to launch PDF attachments within the article for more details on the upgrade.
Remember to keep an eye on your Learning Home Dashboard in Epic by clicking the Tip Sheet button in your Hyperspace Toolbar.

Looking Forward virtual golf fundraiser tees off June 4
Celebrate 30-plus years of Looking Forward and help raise funds to directly benefit Smilow Cancer Hospital patients at this year’s Looking Forward Virtual Golf Event & Cocktail Party, Wednesday, June 4, 5 ‒8:30 pm, Back 9 Social, 805 Colony Road, Wallingford. Attendees may sign up to be a “designated driver” and collect monetary pledges based on how far they can hit a golf ball – or simply attend the party. Visit LFGolfEvent.GiveSmart.com to register as a driver or purchase party tickets. Tickets are $50 each; designated drivers are admitted free with a minimum of $100 in pledges.
