170 Greenwich Hospital physicians among the more than 600 Yale New Haven Health Physicians on “Top Doctors” List

Greenwich, CT (June 2, 2021) – A total of 662 physicians affiliated with Yale New Haven Health -– which includes Bridgeport, Greenwich, Yale New Haven, and Lawrence + Memorial hospitals in Connecticut, Westerly Hospital in Rhode Island, and Northeast Medical Group – have been selected for Connecticut Magazine’s 2021 Top Doctors in America list in the June 2021 issue.

The list of Yale New Haven Health physicians includes 170 Greenwich Hospital doctors.

“We are fortunate to have such a large group of talented and compassionate physicians, which enables us to deliver the highest level of care,” said Diane Kelly, DNP, RN, president of Greenwich Hospital. “We greatly appreciate all that they do on behalf of our patients and the many communities we serve in Connecticut and New York.”

The magazine partnered with the Castle Connolly to compile the annual list of the state’s top physicians. The 2021 nomination period was in February and physicians are able to nominate colleagues and peers who are board certified in their specialty and 10 years post medical school. Then Castle Connolly makes the final determination.

The “Top Doctors” issue features 1560 physicians representing scores of specialties.

Physicians affiliated with Yale New Haven Health representing more than 60 specialties comprise 42 percent of the total list.
