American Heart Association honors Greenwich Hospital for stroke care

Greenwich, CT (July 1, 2019) – In keeping with its reputation for providing high-quality stroke care, Greenwich Hospital has been recognized with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Award for applying the most up-to-date evidence-based treatments.

Greenwich Hospital in recent months has expanded neurology services to five neurologists at Yale Medicine Neurology at Greenwich, including a neuro hospitalist for hospitalized and Emergency Department patients and a neurosurgeon who specializes in spine oncology.
