She started working for Greenwich Hospital in 1982 as a surgical tech before expanding on her education and becoming a registered nurse and eventually a registered nurse first assistant. She is known for her exceptional skill, mentorship and unwavering commitment to patient care. With many years of experience, she has shaped countless surgical teams through hands-on teaching and expert guidance. Her passion for education ensures that Dubail consistently goes above and beyond, advocating for patients' safety and comfort, leaving a lasting impact on OR nursing through her leadership and compassion.
Anna Cerra, DNP, RN, chief nursing officer and senior vice president, presented the Nurse of the Year Award and wrapped up the festivities. “Each interaction, no matter how small, has the power to make a difference,” she said. “It’s important to not only recognize the outstanding contributions of our nurses, but to also take the time to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all those who contribute to the delivery of the quality care.”
