Greenwich, CT – For a third consecutive year, Greenwich Hospital has received the 2016 Women’s Choice Award as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience.
“This award pays tribute to our ongoing commitment to create an extraordinary patient experience for all patients and their families by providing exceptional care and service every day. All of our employees – throughout every corner of the organization – are dedicated to proving our patients and visitors with the best possible patient experience,” said Norman G. Roth, Greenwich Hospital president.
Only two hospitals in Connecticut earned the designation.
The evidence-based designation is the only award that identifies the nation’s best healthcare institutions based on Medicare data weighted according to the preferences of women. For 2016, the most important considerations for women were a patient’s willingness to recommend the healthcare organization; doctor and nurse communications; staff help; pain management; cleanliness; and an explanation of medications.
In addition to the award for Patient Experience, Greenwich Hospital has received 2016 Women’s Choice Awards for Obstetrics, Cancer Care, Patient Safety and Stroke Care.
