Greenwich, CT (Jan. 21, 2021) – Greenwich Hospital and Yale New Haven Health, in partnership with Brunswick School, will open a public vaccine clinic on Monday, Jan. 25.
The clinic will be located on Brunswick’s campus at 1252 King Street. Vaccinations are by appointment only. Signage to be placed on King Street will clearly direct visitors to the clinic.
“Brunswick has been an amazing partner,” said Diane Kelly, president of Greenwich Hospital. “Our goal is to be able to vaccinate up to 1,000 people a day, safely and quickly, at this new site. We’re extremely grateful to Brunswick’s staff for allowing us to make this a reality so quickly.”
Connecticut residents may make an appointment on the Yale New Haven Health website: www.ynhhs.org/covidvaccine. More appointments are being added as the vaccine is made available to ensure a sufficient supply for all patients.
“We’re happy and eager to be of help to our community during this national emergency,” Brunswick School Head Thomas W. Philip said. “And we’ve been so impressed with how professional and thorough every representative of Greenwich Hospital has been in the many meetings we’ve had to prepare for this initiative. We’re indeed fortunate to have an institution such as Greenwich Hospital in our community,” he said.
Greenwich Hospital will be operating the Brunswick COVID vaccination site as well as another site at its West Putnam Medical Center. All locations require an appointment, which can be made through MyChart or through the website above.
In the state of Connecticut, phase 1B officially began this week with the vaccinations of residents 75 and older who are not living in nursing homes. For more information on the phased rollout schedule, please visit www.ynhhs.org or the state’s website here: https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/COVID-19-Vaccination---Phases.
Yale New Haven Health patients who reside outside of Connecticut are eligible to receive the COVID vaccine in Connecticut if they qualify for vaccination under Connecticut's guidelines. Those patients who receive their care in Connecticut can schedule an appointment at a community vaccination site here: www.ynhhs.org/covidvaccine.
