Visiting Hours and Guidelines

COVID-19 Update:
Visitor Restrictions

covid_novisitors

To help prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and for the safety of our patients and staff, we are currently restricting visitation. Patients are not permitted visitors at this time. Thank you for your cooperation and help in keeping our patients, staff and communities safe.

Exceptions to this policy may be made for neonatal ICU (NICU), pediatric, obstetric and psychiatric units as well as for extenuating circumstances, including those receiving end-of-life care and patients with disabilities who require a support person. We continue to monitor the situation. The visitation restrictions will be amended when appropriate.

While visitors can help patients to heal, it is important for all of us to recognize the importance that rest and recuperation play in the patient’s healing process. We work hard to make sure patients and visitors have a pleasant experience in a quiet, secure and restful environment.

We ask that visitors respect our Visiting Hours (see below). We encourage families to limit the number of visitors to a patient’s room to as few people as possible at one time. Please consider scheduling family members to visit at different times.

Visitors who have been exposed to a communicable disease such as flu should not visit a patient.

Smoking is not permitted in the hospital or on its grounds.

Rest is an important part of healing

All patients, even new mothers, need rest. Please be considerate of napping patients before visiting. We strongly suggest limiting the number of visitors to two individuals per patient.
