From left, Millie Vargas, Angelica Lopez-Schenarts and Patricia Mercado, Access Operations, earned the Patient Experience Award for Caring and Excellence (PEACE) for helping out in the very busy Emergency Department. The three patient financial access coordinators provided non-clinical support, working extended hours, then briefly swiping out to rest and returning to continue helping. They were also recognized for their positive attitudes, boosting team morale and helping to create a calm, collaborative environment during a very stressful time.
