Dr. Andre Shomorony is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon with advanced training in rhinoplasty, functional nasal surgery, facial rejuvenation, facial trauma, and comprehensive hair restoration. His practice reflects a rare combination of academic rigor, technical innovation, and deeply personal patient care, offering both surgical and non-surgical solutions tailored to each individual’s anatomy, goals, and life circumstances.
Dr. Shomorony earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University, graduating magna cum laude, before completing the Harvard–MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) Program at Harvard Medical School, where he graduated with honors in a special field. He completed his surgical residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital–Columbia and Cornell, followed by advanced fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.
Throughout his career, Dr. Shomorony has developed particular expertise in complex and revision rhinoplasty, including endonasal techniques that preserve nasal structure while restoring both form and function. He is widely recognized for his work in nasal tip refinement, septal reconstruction, and functional nasal airway surgery, and has been invited to present his techniques nationally and internationally.
A prolific academic surgeon, Dr. Shomorony has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as Nature Communications, Nano Letters, Laryngoscope, and Facial Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Medicine, and has contributed chapters to major facial plastic surgery textbooks. He is the recipient of the prestigious Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship and multiple national research awards, and currently serves on the Editorial Board of Facial Plastic Surgery.
In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Shomorony is Medical Director of the Split Rock Aesthetic Institute, where he integrates regenerative medicine and state-of-the-art non-surgical technologies into comprehensive treatment plans designed to promote long-term facial and scalp health.
