Laura Belland, MD, is a physician dedicated to geriatrics and palliative care at Bridgeport Hospital. She provides inpatient palliative care consultations to patients who are facing serious illness. Dr. Belland aims to help improve quality of life, treat pain and other symptoms, and provide support to patients and their loved ones as they navigate next steps in the patients’ medical care. Dr. Belland works with an interdisciplinary team to address patients’ psychosocial and spiritual needs as they progress through their hospitalization. In recognition of her outstanding work with patients and their families, Dr. Belland has received multiple Quality Awards and Nominations from Bridgeport Hospital.
