Seth Woolf, MD, is a pediatric emergency medicine physician who specializes in the care of children and adolescents experiencing urgent medical conditions. He treats a wide variety of emergencies, including injuries, infections, and acute illnesses that require immediate evaluation and intervention.
As an assistant professor of pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Woolf’s research focuses on improving the care of pediatric patients in emergency settings. He has studied the prevalence and characteristics of oral injuries in young children and is involved in community hospital projects aimed at enhancing pediatric care in emergency departments. His work includes improving the detection of abnormal vital signs in children, running pediatric clinical simulations, and working to ensure better access to critical care equipment for pediatric patients.
Dr. Woolf received his medical training at St. George's University Medical School and completed his residency and fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine.
