Volunteer Services

The Greenwich Hospital Volunteer Services Department is using a phased approach to prudently welcome our dedicated volunteers back into our organization. Once our current volunteers safely resume, it is our hope that we can invite new volunteers in to the program beginning early 2021.

While our Junior Volunteer Program is still suspended, high school students may seek creative ways to earn “remote” volunteer hours. Students that wish to support our healing shawl program, organize toy drives for our pediatric “kidz cart”, or raise funds to purchase supplies for these programs through school sponsored clubs or initiative are encouraged to reach out to the volunteer office to discuss proposals.

Please reach out to the volunteer office at 203-863-3222, if you have ideas or specific questions.

Message from the Auxiliary President

The Greenwich Hospital Auxiliary continues to thrive as a vital presence at the hospital and in the surrounding community. Established in 1950, fiscal year 2019 completed the Auxiliary’s 69th year in existence.

Become a Volunteer

Greenwich Hospital volunteers are a wonderfully diverse group of professionals, retirees, moms, dads and students from Connecticut and New York. In choosing to volunteer, they are doing something meaningful with their free time. More importantly, their service and generosity of spirit make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Our Stories

We appreciate all of our volunteers. Whether they have been here for 20 days or 20 years, we welcome their time and commitment.
