On the same day, you meet with your urologist, oncologists, and members of your supportive care team to develop a personalized treatment plan. Our oncology team has made key research breakthroughs in the treatment of metastatic bladder cancer and kidney cancer. Using the latest robotic surgical system provides a minimally invasive surgical option to our patients.
For patients with lower risk levels of prostate cancer, focal therapy destroys tumor cells without requiring radiation or other surgeries using various types of energy. This treatment not only preserves the prostate but protects urinary and sexual function. Focal therapy can also be used to treat tumors and preserve kidney function for patients with ureter and upper urinary tract cancers. Patients typically go home the same day.
