Greenwich, CT (March 29, 2019) – Bruce McGibbon, MD, will join the Smilow Cancer Hospital’s Greenwich Hospital Campus as the new medical director of Radiation Oncology effective in July.

Board certified in radiation oncology, Dr. McGibbon is an assistant professor of Therapeutic Radiology at the Yale School of Medicine. He provides care to patients with breast, prostate, lung, rectal, head and neck, and primary/metastatic cancers of the brain.

Dr. McGibbon will partner with Daniela Addeo, MD, who will continue her clinical practice in radiation oncology at Greenwich. Her clinical focus includes stereotactic radiosurgery, total body irradiation, brachytherapy, and treatment of gynecological, breast and skin malignancies.

“We are delighted to be adding Dr. McGibbon to the Greenwich Hospital team,” said Norman G. Roth, president and CEO of Greenwich Hospital. “His experience and talent will be an invaluable addition to our oncology team.” Dr. McGibbon resides in Pelham, NY with his wife and four children.
