Amanda Miller, Bridgeport Hospital program director of Strategic Operations, has been named one of Westfair Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” for Fairfield County. The award recognizes the trailblazers of tomorrow and leaders who are part of the county’s business growth.  Miller supports the office of BH’s president in coordinating and integrating Yale New Haven Health services into Bridgeport Hospital. Most recently she has focused on systematizing Public Safety by managing capital projects for security enhancements such as new training, equipment and technology.

William Degnan has been named vice president of Finance for Greenwich Hospital, bringing more than 30 years of experience in healthcare financial leadership. Each of the organizations Degnan has been affiliated with are now part of Jefferson Health System in Philadelphia. He started with Einstein Healthcare Network, then spent 14 years at Aria Health (acquired by Jefferson in 2020) where he held the top finance role for 13 years. Degnan has a CPA and earned his MBA from Eastern University in Pennsylvania.
