Neurosurgical Trials

The Spine Center at Greenwich Hospital specializes in minimally invasive options for spinal fusion. The Center's neurosurgeons are at the forefront of clinical research, helping to advance the field and optimize patient outcomes. Greenwich Hospital’s Wallace Trials Center is involved in several national clinical trials, including an ongoing study comparing outcomes of two spinal fusion techniques to release a compressed nerve.

The ONS Foundation

The ONS Foundation was established in alliance with Greenwich Hospital. Its purpose is to develop the most advanced surgical techniques, rehabilitation protocols and clinical outcomes in orthopedics and neurosurgery. The foundation is currently working on several research projects. One study is comparing outcomes of open spine surgery to minimally invasive surgery and another is examining spinal stress fractures in young athletes.
