In the past 5 years, 31 categorical residents have graduated from the Greenwich Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program. The following summarizes initial job placements of our residents after completion of either their residency training or their PGY-4 chief resident year at Greenwich Hospital:
- 19% practice primary care internal medicine (many in the local area and several in academic settings)
- 26% practice hospitalist internal medicine
- 55% went on to subspecialty fellowship training
- Our three-year, first-attempt average pass rate for the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) exam is 95%.
